Registration Policies - Updated July 2024

Refund Policy:

• Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class. Please let us know ahead of time if you will not be able to attend and we can offer a make-up class with one of our other scheduled classes.

• No refunds will be issued after week 2 of the 4 week session.

• No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a make up class.

• All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to thenatureclassroom@gmail.com

 

Make-Up Classes and Cancellations:

• All classes take place outdoors. Classes will occur during light rain and warm temperatures. In the event of extreme weather (heavy rain, lightening, extreme heat), The Nature Classroom will assess the weather, and if necessary, a cancellation email will be sent to the email address provided, and a makeup class will be scheduled. 

• Make up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.

• The Nature Classroom reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.

Membership Cancellations:

• Membership cancellations ​need to be processed by the 10th of the month.

Disclaimer 

Agreement to Participate in The Nature Classroom

I understand and acknowledge that The Nature Classroom classes will occur outside in nature where there is always the risk to encounter any natural elements such as plants and wildlife. I also understand that I am responsible for the safety of my child during all activities the take place during class. The Nature Classroom will not be held liable for any injury, sickness, disease, or permanent disability that my child might incur during one of the classes.

 

Medical Emergency: In case of medical emergency, you authorize the The Nature Classroom teacher to secure emergency medical treatment for your children. You hereby agree to pay for any charges for emergency medical treatment that are not covered by your or your children’s personal health insurance.

 

Photo Release

I do hereby consent and agree that The Nature Classroom has the right to take photographs and video of my child during The Nature Classroom classes. These photos and video may be used on the company website (www.thenatureclassroom.org) , company social media pages and promotional material without compensation. I understand that my child’s name and identity will not be revealed. If you would prefer we not take photographs or video of your child, please notify us via email.

 

 

I hereby certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the above child and that my child’s age, date of birth and other registration information is true and correct and that I have the legal authority to register my child.

I also certify that I have read, understand and accept The Nature Classroom’s Privacy Policy regarding how information is collected, used and shared and which is viewable on our website at www.thenatureclassrom.org.

 

Waiver of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to participate, on behalf of myself, my family, my heirs, and my assigns, I hereby release The Nature Classroom, its agents, and its employees from liability for injury, sickness, disease, loss, or death to the above-mentioned participant in any way associated with participating in one of our classes now or in the future, resulting from the ordinary negligence of The Nature Classroom, its agents and employees.
